Leigh has been a life long
performer & lover of dance and movement. She began training as do many little girls in ballet class & later moved into modern dance. She was also a competitive figure skater for many years which is what eventually led her to bellydance.
Her adoration of Middle Eastern dance & music began when she was asked to compose a figure skating choreography on Middle Eastern Music. Always wanting to be throrough, she set her research on bellydance & found Arabesque Academy in Toronto. There, she fell in love with the sensuality of the movements & the complexity & texture of the music. She trained at Arabesque Academy for years, eventually becoming a teacher & popular solo performer.
